Whether it is climate change, the opportunities and dangers of AI or dealing with the colonial past: the issues of our time have a major impact on how we relate to each other as human beings. This is the field of humanities scholars, such as philosophers, historians, media scholars, linguists and heritage specialists.

The Amsterdam Humanities Hub connects society and science. We match partners from the cultural sector, government, or business to scholars and young talent to co-create innovative and surprising solutions to urgent questions. We facilitate temporary and structural collaborations, in the form of research, impact projects, internships, practical assignments, or startups.

Our home base is located in the University Quarter, in the center of Amsterdam. Here, science and society come together during the knowledge events that are organised almost daily for a wide audience. This way, the Amsterdam Humanities Hub contributes to a livable city associated with science, innovation, and culture.
